Nasal silicone removal and revision rhinoplasty using autologous cartilage

This gentleman had nasal silicone implant on the dorsum, and septal cartilage used for his tip.

But, as time passes, his nose tip is dropped and the nasal dorsum deformed.

You can see the short silicone on his nasal dorsum from the X-ray.

And subsequent step deformity on the preoperative later view in the middle. 

So, replaced his nasal silicone implant with autologous cartilage, and corrected nose tip.

It is sometimes difficult to expect how much the nose tip projection will decrease as time passes, but with proper technique using autologous tissue, the margin of error should be within 10%
